Here at Last!

I finally reached my cousins and they gave me a warm welcome! The first thing I did was jump out of the car and run in frantic circles to get all my pent up energy out. I spent the rest of the night playing and feeling so happy. I can't stop smiling as you can see from the picture.
Well, that's it for my blog for now. I will start it up again when I drive back across country on the northern route in August. Until then, woof.

Tallieberry Finn

Leslie let me stick my head out the window as we crossed the bridge over the Mississippi River. So much water! If only I was the kind of dog that liked to swim, I would have tried to jump in. But I was careful not to fall out since water is my mortal enemy. Now we are in Tennessee. Only one more day in the car and then I finally get to see my cousin Bodhi!

Are we there yet?

We just crossed into a place called Arkansas. I could care less though because Leslie bought me a chewy steak treat at our last stop. Should keep me occupied for 15 minutes or so.

Don't Mess With Texas

Leslie made me stop and take a picture with this sign. Huge trucks were speeding by us on the freeway and it was scary. What was she thinking!

Hail and Hamburgers

Today was quite eventful. Leslie stopped at the side of the road to let me out to sniff on the New Mexico Texas border. I was sniffing some grass and minding my own doggy business when something big and round hit me on the head. It was like bits of my dog food falling from the sky but it was cold and white. Leslie shrieked and grabbed me and ran back to the car. I heard her and George talking and they said it was hail and that is was the size of a dime-whatever that is. I was scared because the hail was so loud bouncing off the car, but then I felt better because George bought me my very own hamburger at McDonalds. I gobbled it up in two bites. Yummerific!
